Urban Fellows tackle some of the most challenging jobs in city government. They work in virtually every area, from the budget process to agency operations, low income housing to affordable health care, and education to economic development." Who: Recent college grads (no more than two years out of school). All students interested in pursuing a career in government (regardless of major) should apply. Location: New York City. Duration: Nine months, beginning in September and ending in May. Cost/Benefits: Members receive a $25,000 stipend and health insurance. Many members continue to work for the city after completing their year as a Fellow. |
