OUTWARD BOUND   Contact:  www.outwardbound.com What:  A non-profit education institute, which offers wilderness adventures.  Its mission is "to inspire character development and self-discovery in people of all ages and walks of life through challenge and adventure, and to impel them to achieve more than they ever thought possible, to show compassion for others and to actively engage in creating a better world."   Who:  Programs exist for students of all ages (starting at age 12). Location:  In fourteen states, the Caribbean, and South America. Duration:  Course range from four days to 81 days. Cost/Benefits: Prices range from $695 for a four day course to $9995 for an 81 day course.  Both scholarships and academic credit are available.
