What: Since 1971 ICE has helped students find paid internships abroad. "As an ICE Program Participant, you'll gain invaluable international work, culture, and language experience which you'll carry with you the rest of your life". Who: College students between the ages of 18-30. Some programs will accept students out of high school who are not yet in college. Location: England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, China, Japan, Vietnam, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Peru and Argentina. Duration: Usually two to three months (although longer is possible in some places) in the summer time. Cost/Benefits: There is a $250 application fee and a $700 placement fee. Some placements are paid (mainly in Europe), others just offer housing and food, and some don't pay at all. |
